Lixian County

Fu Su heads west for Lixian County where he may get a lot of medicine. Although there is no main quest, many interesting side quests will result in an increase in his experience and Fu Su can get a lot of wooden sticks.

Side quest 1: Fu Su meets a lovely child called Tuan’er in the village and accepts her quest to pretend to be her father who was forced to construct the Great Wall at the northern border. Fu Su must listen carefully to her and try to remember as much information as possible. Then during the later conversation with her mother, Fu Su mustn’t make any mistake. If Fu Su can accomplish this mission, he will get a lot of experience points and a gem form Tuan’er.

Side quest 2: A herb planter asks Fu Su to get back his fungus from a group of bandits gathered on the northwestern side of the village.

Side quest 3: Fu Su learns how to make puppets with a middle-aged man.

Side quest 4: An old man’s fishing rod is broken and Fu Su can make a new one for him if Fu Su has learned the skill in Yangzhou.

Side quest 5: Fu Su will get some rewards when he talks to Ji Quan if Fu Su has given the chef some dates in Yangzhou.

Northern Suburbs of Xianyang

Fu Su hears his brother, the current Emperor, is hunting here and then decides to try and get some information if possible. Fu Su can go straight to confront a large number of guards to approach his brother, but it is rather difficult. Alternatively, Fu Su learns from a woodsman in the woods that there is a secret way leading to the rear of the encampment. Although some guards are standing guard there, it’s much easier. Once Fu Su gets into the tent, a cutscene will be triggered.

Xianyang

Fu Su enters Xianyang, the capital, and heads for the residence of General Huan Feng, his best friend since childhood. Huan Feng tells him he is also suspicious about the death of the First Emperor. Fu Su then decides to get into his father’s tomb to find out some clues. But Fu Su must first find an expert excelling in devices and tricks to remove all the traps.

After leaving Huan Feng’s residence, Fu Su encounters his chief servant Le Bo. He gives Fu Su the key of the rear door of Fu Su’s residence. In the Crown Prince’s residence, Fu Su finds his wife’s will and the book of The Art of War by Sun Bin.

Side quest 1: Fu Su comes across an old man and his grandson Ming’er and learns that a scarf left by Ming’er’s late mother has been damaged. Then Fu Su finds an embroideress in the north of the city and has the scarf repaired. Then Fu Su tells the good news to Ming’er who is playing in a deserted house in the south of the city and will get a sword for his effort. Then Fu Su gives the scarf to the old man and will get some more rewards.

Side quest 2: At the street near the center of the city, Fu Su is asked by a servant to get him a fur coat. Fu Su can go Yanmen Pass to buy one or just make one himself.

Side quest 3: In a civilian house east of the city, a girl named Ping’er asks for Fu Su’s help. Fu Su accepts and buys her a new jug. She then gives Fu Su a hairpin which is the key to the cave in Yanmen Pass.

Side quest 4: Near Ping’er’s house, Fu Su encounters a girl who wants to marry a man named Lin. But Lin cannot afford the dowry required by her father. Fu Su can persuade her father or just provide the owry for Lin.

Side quest 5: Fu Su talks to Fuqiu Bo near the prison and can get The Book of Songs.

Side quest 6: In a house southwest of the city, Fu Su answers some questions from a scholar and gets some rewards.

Chapter 2 Seeking Help

Yongxian County

In this county, there is no main quest, but Fu Su may get the Yuchang Sword, one of the seven precious swords left from previous generations.

Side quest 1: An old man asks Fu Su four puzzles and Fu Su will get some different rewards according to his answers.

Side quest 2: In the northwest corner of the county, a wandering boy asks Fu Su to get back the treasure left by his father. Then Fu Su goes into the cave and kills all the enemies. Please note: the boy only gives Fu Su one key and Fu Su can only open one of the two chests.

Side quest 3: Fu Su helps a scholar and his girlfriend Ah Lan to get engaged and the scholar will promise to give Fu Su the Yuchang Sword. Fu Su can get it after he finishes the mission regarding Tian Gang.

Side quest 4: In a pawn shop on the east side of the county, Fu Su recognizes a jade pendant as one belonging to his twelfth brother. So he follows the pendant’s carrier and then finds his brother Ying Gao beleaguered by some Qin troops. Killing all the enemies, Fu Su can find his dying brother in a house. His brother Ying Gao then tells Fu Su their brother Hu Hai has killed all the other brothers.After the death of Ying Gao, his wife, Yao Tong, tells Fu Su she will go home first to Lixian County. Fu Su can also go there and recruit her. Yao Tong is a witch.

Sanchuan County

Side quest 1: Fu Su defeats butcher Yan and helps Hou Xun get back his gem.

Side quest 2: Fu Su learns how to make a spade from a peasant in the southwest corner of the city. This skill will be used in a later chapter.

Side quest 3: Fu Su resolves the hostility between Xun Hou and his neighbor Ma San.

Side quest 4: Beside the pagoda in the southwest of the city, Fu Su defeats a rascal and then he will tell Fu Su where to get the Golden Dragon Helmet.

Side quest 5: Fu Su hears from some patrons in the inn that the local rich man, Jin Hai, has gathered together a group of assassins. Fu Su can go there and hire the assassin Tian Yeulin, or Fu Su can persuade her to join his party. If Fu Su answers incorrectly, then he must defeat her himself.

Yingchuan

In a house on the northern side of the village, a merchant tells Fu Su that a group of bandits are demanding he give them his heirloom. Fu Su decides to go to Yinghuiling Mountain to see what’s going on.

Side quest 1: An old man can tell the fortunes of Fu Su’s companions.

Side quest 2: A boy named Xiaolong tells Fu Su that his wooden sword has been snatched by Ah Zhu. Fu Su then gets back the wooden sword for Xiaolong.

Side quest 3: Fu Su learns from a blacksmith how to make wooden swords.

Side quest 4: Fu Su hears from a man named Sheng Cai that his friend Wang Yan has been put into prison, but he is innocent. Then Fu Su bribes the guards to get into the prison. Fortunately, he finds a key to Wang Yan’s cell on a table. Wang Yan tells Fu Su some details about his case. Then Fu Su goes to Wang Yan’s house and discovers a jade pendant. Fu Su goes into the prison again and Wang Yan recognizes this jade pendant as belonging to his neighbor Li Duo. Then Fu Su visits Li Duo who denies he has gone to Wang Yan’s house. Fu Su talks to Sheng Cai again and learns Li Duo has acquired a large fortune recently. Fu Su goes to Li Duo’s house and finds a key to Wang Yan’s house. Under Fu Su’s questioning, Li Duo finally confesses that the scheme was devised by the Magistrate. Then Fu Su confronts the Magistrate and demands the release of Wang Yan. Alternatively, Fu Su can do a jailbreak when he first meets Wang Yan.

Yinghuiling Mountain

On the path to Yinghuiling Mountain, Fu Su encounters Zhang Liang and they become friends. Zhang Liang tells Fu Su the so-called “bandits” are in fact a rebel army led by Han Cheng. But Fu Su insists on questioning the leader of the army about the matter of extortion. At the entrance of the encampment, Fu Su says to the guard he is Zhang Liang’s friend. In this way, a battle can be avoided and Fu Su visits the leader, Han Cheng.

After investigation, a soldier admits he is responsible for the extortion, but Han Cheng doesn’t want to revoke the order. Then a battle starts and Zhang Liang will help Fu Su. The battle will end once Han Cheng is defeated. During the battle, Fu Su should try to protect Zhang Liang from being killed. After the battle, Zhang Liang can join Fu Su’s party if Fu Su’s fame reaches level 30.

Side quest 1: On the way to the mountain stronghold, Fu Su meets a herbalist and he asks Fu Su to find a rope and hook so that he can search for herbs. This quest can be easily done if Fu Su has learned the two skills in Yangzhou.

Peixian County

Fu Su learns that a man named Xiao Qi excels in tricks and devices. But only Xiao He, his brother, and Liu Bang know where to find Xiao Qi. Then Fu Su goes to Peixian County to visit Liu Bang. From passers-by, Fu Su knows Liu Bang is not at home. There are three ways to meet Liu Bang then:

a. Fu Su can talk to a rascal on the street and will know that a dog-meat peddler is an intimate friend of Liu Bang. Then Fu Su finds the peddler and chats with him. If Fu Su’s answer satisfies the peddler, he will tell Fu Su how to find Liu Bang;

b. Fu Su can talk to the innkeeper and will learn that Xiahou Ying is Liu Bang’s good friend. Also if Fu Su’s answer satisfies this man, he will tell Fu Su where to find Liu Bang;

c. Fu Su can talk to Liu Bang’s wife Lu Zhi and tells her Qin troops are hounding her husband. After getting out of her house, Fu Su encounters Liu Bang’s son and the boy wants a wooden sword. After Fu Su provides him with one, the boy will tell Fu Su his father is at Dangshan Mountain.

Dangshan Mountain

Fu Su has to go to Dangshan Mountain. But when he reaches there, Fu Su learns Xiao Qi has left for Pengcheng.

Side quest 1: An old woman at the northern side of the Mountain asks Fu Su to bring her grandson back home. Fu Su finds her grandson, but the little boy wants his puppet first which is locked inside a chest. Then Fu Su goes south to get the key for the chest.

Side quest 2: In the woods, a woodsman tells Fu Su he left his jade pendant inside a cave, but he cannot get it back because of some horrible monsters in the cave. Fu Su then fights his way into the cave and gets the jade pendant back for the woodsman.
