Chapter 1 Return to Xianyang

After a brutal battle, Fu Su, the Crown Prince, only has one thought in his mind: Go back to Xianyang, the capital, to find out what’s going on.

Zhaocun Village

After the game launches, Fu Su goes to the west of the village and talks to an old man there and obtains some useful information.

Then he encounters Zhao Qian on the eastern side of the village. She will treat his wound and then his HP recovers. With her help, Fu Su goes to a cave outside the village. There are many tiger fish in the cave and he can get some experience points after killing them. Deep inside the cave, Fu Su can find a ring in a treasure chest. Before Fu Su leaves the village, he goes back to say good-bye to Zhao Qian.

Also in the village, Fu Su meets another old man and he tells Fu Su something of the Five-element Attributes. This results in Fu Su’s Wisdom increasing by one point.

Side quest 1: At the intersection near the center of the village, Fu Su talks with a poisoned hunter and retrieves the antidote for him. If Fu Su demands a reward, he will get a tiger skin which can be used to make inventory later; if Fu Su doesn’t demand a reward, he will obtain 150 experience points.

Side quest 2: In the yard of a civilian residence, Fu Su talks to a man named Zhao Cheng. During their conversation, Fu Su must say he believes there is a Peach Garden in the world. Then Fu Su will accept a quest to find such a place. Don’t worry about this quest at this moment as it can be accomplished in the later chapter in which Zhaocun Village is destroyed by Qin troops.

Side quest 3: In a house on the eastern side of the village, Fu Su helps an old woman find her recipe book from a jug outside her house. If Fu Su insists on not accepting any reward, he can finally get a nice sword.

Side quest 4: Fu Su goes into a cave east of the village and helps a woodsman get back his axe buried in a bear. After that, Fu Su will get some experience points.

Yangzhou

After leaving Zhaocun Village, Fu Su heads for Yangzhou. But when Fu Su enters the city, he is arrested by Qin troops. After a cutscene, Kong Gang will join Fu Su. Then Fu Su hears from a vegetable peddler that his teacher General Meng Tian has been jailed in this city. So Fu Su decides to visit him and it will be quite easy if Fu Su says he is an Inspector from Xianyang. In the prison, General Meng Tian persuades Fu Su not to try and rescue him by force.

Side quest 1: In the inn of the city, a chef asks Fu Su to get some dates for him. Fu Su can buy some from a vegetable peddler or find some in a house.

Side quest 2: Fu Su learns from a carpenter in the northwest of the city how to make some tools. These tools may be used in later quests. The cost may be a bit high at the moment, so Fu Su can learn them later.

Yanmen Pass

In an inn there, Fu Su meets Modu, a man of a northern tribe, and this man will soon go back to the northern region. If Fu Su’s current level is high enough, he can go to the Hun camp to recruit Modu. Modu and Kong Gang are both Musclemen and one more companion is very helpful in the early stages of the game. Once Fu Su helps Modu ascend the throne, Modu will leave the team again and Fu Su can re-recruit him. Note: The mission to help Modu seize power is relatively hard and so it is recommended to undertake it after Fu Su reaches level 20.

Side quest 1: In his house, Cui Xiao asks Fu Su to find out why only his well doesn’t work. Fu Su then goes down into the well and kills all the monsters inside.

Side quest 2: Fu Su learns from a merchant how to make a fur coat. And then Fu Su can sell them to him at a good price.

Side quest 3: Fu Su tricks a guard into giving him an Official Document to enter Beidi Prefecture.

Side quest 4: In Xianyang, the capital, Fu Su helps Ping’er buy some wine and she will give Fu Su a hairpin. The hairpin is the key to a cave north of the Yanmen Pass. There is a quite good weapon in the cave. Please note: You can enter the cave only once.

Beidi Prefecture

At the gates of Beidi Prefecture, Fu Su can bribe the guards to get in, but this will cost some gold. Alternatively, Fu Su can go first to Beidi Courier Station, south of Yangzhou. After Fu Su meets the chief, he claims to be an Imperial Inspector from Xianyang. In this way, he can easily get the Official Document to enter Beidi Prefecture. Then Fu Su enters the prefecture and hears from a passerby that the First Emperor, his father, has died.

In Beidi Prefecture, there are many side quests. Recruiting Liao Yi first will make the following adventure easier. Fu Su talks with a child in the street southwest of the city and learns there is a wizard named Liao Yi. Fu Su then goes into his house and persuades him to keep his spirits up. Later, Fu Su comes back and Liao Yi will join his party.

Side quest 1: In the inn of the city, Fu Su learns that a rascal often consumes food and drink there but without paying his bill. Then Fu Su defeats the rascal and gets back the 800 gold he owes the innkeeper. Fu Su talks again to the innkeeper and can get different rewards according to the conversation.

Side quest 2: In the same inn, Fu Su argues with a waiter about a well. Then Fu Su will get an increase in experience and fame.

Side quest 3: Fu Su enters Peng Yue’s house and promises his wife to persuade him to give up drinking. For his effort, Fu Su will get some rewards.

Side quest 4: Near the west gates of the city, a hunter tells Fu Su he can offer a higher price for wolf bones and there are many wolves nearby.

Side quest 5: On the northeastern side of the city, a peasant asks Fu Su to go into the cave along with him.
