killed after he consecrated the male one to He Lu. The male

King of Yue Goujian's sword

According to history, the Yue State was exterminated
by the Wu State, and the Emperor Gou Jian was forced to serve
Fu Chai as a slave. After Gou Jian returned home, he couldn't
give up the hope of recovering his country and made up his mind
to prepare for battle. So he gave orders to make all sorts of
weapons, and the sword "Guojian"was one of them. In
484 BC, when Fu Chai was entertaining the lords to a banquet
at Huangchi, Gou Jian dispatched troops and quickly occupied
Gusu City, the capital of the Wu State. Thus the Wu State was
defeated and Gou Jian revenged his country eventually. |
