Cloud-pine shield
|

The shield is made of Cloud-pine wood that is
commonly produced in the northern area. Cloud-pine wood
is extremely hard and it is the perfect material to use to make
a shield. |

Leather shield
|
|
The leather shield has more advantages than the
wooden one. People make the shield by sticking the processed
hide of animals onto the wood and daubing it with raw lacquer.
The inside and outside of the leather shield are painted thickly
and colorfully and its toughness and defensive capability is
much better than that of the wooden shield. |

Rosefinch shield

When the Yellow Emperor and Chi You were fighting
in ZhuoLu, the troops of Chi You consisted of four groups, which
were Green Dragon, Tortoise, White Tiger and Rosefinch and each
group had its own shield with its own symbol, and they used
these shields to command different beasts to fight against the
troops of the Yellow Emperor. |
